Hi, I'm Lindsay. I'm a therapist, which means I've spent a lot of time thinking about feelings — yours, mine, the ones you're not sure you're allowed to have.
Here's what I believe: therapy shouldn't feel like homework, and it definitely shouldn't feel like a lecture. It should feel like talking to someone who's smart, who's genuinely on your side, and who isn't going to flinch when you say the thing you've been avoiding saying.
I work with clients on communication that's gone sideways, patterns you can't seem to shake, relationships that don't fit a template (and don't need to), and the everyday work of figuring out who you are and what you actually want.
Whatever your relationship looks like (married, dating, solo, polyamorous, etc) you don't have to explain why it's valid before we can get to work.
I'll tell you when I see a pattern. I'll ask the question you're hoping I won't.
Growth doesn't have to be grim. I'll be real with you so you can be real with me.
